These are selective, seasonal, and only available for specific session types.

Selective Event Coverage (Free Coverage)

This applies only to:

  • Cosplay conventions
  • SCA (Society for Creative Anachronism) gatherings
  • Cultural festivals / community cultural events


In exchange, the organizer must provide:

  • An official media pass or equivalent photographer access
  • Coverage of travel, meals, and lodging if the event is outside Greater Victoria
  • A signed media release allowing promotional use of the images
